It’s Tech Week in Los Angeles, the fourth annual event. I have attended them all.
Each year it grows. More people. More ideas. More possibilities.

I spoke with author Ryan Holiday early yesterday. And the level of talent and impact only climbs from there.
The focus isn’t just on technology this year.
It’s on how quickly new ideas connect with users and become part of their daily rhythm.
At TechWeekLA, that point is everywhere.
The early gatherings leading into the week made it clear: for a product to serve a need successfully, it has to create a habit loop with the end user early on.
The first experience either hooks interest or loses it.
The most competent builders here are designing for that moment. Retention begins with repetition.
Consumer AI has advanced quickly.
For creators, that means access like never before.
I’ve met founders, designers, educators, and financiers focused on solving bigger problems and improving the user experience.
They aren’t chasing tools. They’re shaping interactions that build trust and invite repeat use. That is what separates an experiment from a solution.
The story isn’t the tech. It’s the mindset behind it.
Anyone with a great idea can now turn it into an interactive experience that reaches scale.
Individuals are building prototypes the same day. Writers are shaping new formats. Builders are translating feedback into products that feel natural to use.
Every version gets sharper because they stay close to how people actually engage, not what trends suggest they should.
That is leadership at work.
The easier technology becomes to use, the more it tests who can guide with clarity and discernment.
The best builders I’ve met aren’t chasing attention. They’re earning adoption through thoughtful design and real utility.
TechWeek LA reflects that shift. More focus on creating experiences that keep users coming back.
The conversations lean toward usability, trust, and long-term engagement that make work and life better for real people.
Each year reinforces one truth.
