When leaders share the story behind the principle, people not only listen - they relate.
They feel what the standard costs. That’s when buy-in shifts from compliance to commitment.
Consider:
The leader who doesn’t just say “accountability matters,” but shares the fallout from a time they failed to own something - and how they changed.
The founder who tells the truth about a bad decision that nearly ruined everything - and the breakthrough that came after.
